A flea market in a retirement home means not only browsing and discovering, but above all valuable encounters and experiences together.

In Aja Textor Goethe House A colorful flea market day is to be created, during which residents are actively involved. It's about more than sorting and selling things — it's about conversations, memories and little stories behind the objects.

The flea market should not only provide variety and joy in the everyday lives of residents, but also create opportunities for personal conversation and social participation. The focus is on intergenerational exchange.

As a team, you will:

1. Prepare and set up the flea market together with the institution
2. Sort objects and present them lovingly
3. Get in touch with residents and help with sales
4. Create a warm, open atmosphere
5. Help with dismantling and reflect on the day together

Schedule of the day:

• 10:00 a.m. — Set up the tables and flea market stalls
• 12:00 — Joint lunch and short house tour
• 13:00 — Start of the flea market and meeting with residents
• 15:00 — Dismantling and sorting out together
• 16:30 — Final round with exchange
