Together with the Munich Municipal Forest Administration and lets, we are making an important contribution to climate protection and making the Munich Forest climate-proof. The motto: actively shape urban forests and make them fit for climate change.
The current spruce trees are struggling with climate change, which is why a new generation of forest should be planted underneath them that can cope better with dry and warmer conditions. Among other things, seedlings of fir, yew, European beech and linden are planted.
