In the football field-sized "Stubengarten", hidden behind raised beds, tomato plants, and wild rose hedges, lies a special spot waiting to become the ultimate place to relax. With the support of volunteers and donors, we are creating blooming landscapes where residents can relax, sunbathe, read, or take beautiful photos away from the hustle and bustle. On the Social Day we aim to construct a few meters of these paths. This involves laying weed control fabric, distributing sand, and arranging various sizes of river pebbles with mortar to form a natural-looking path. Together with our residents, we'll dig, shovel, and level the new paths, excited to see our progress in creating an idyllic walkway.
We start at 10 AM with a get together and after the work is done, we will conclude the day with a shared barbecue around 5:30 PM.
