Hands-on Help: A Morning for People in Need

Aktion Brücke e.V. is a non-profit organization based in Munich, dedicated to supporting homeless and vulnerable people in the region with great commitment. Through regular distribution and packing campaigns, personal support, and practical aid, the association helps meet basic needs and provide social warmth—straightforward, direct, and with a human touch.

Goal of the Engagement
Teamwork for a good cause is at the heart of this activity: Together with the organization, you will prepare aid packages for homeless and displaced people in Munich. Through your support, you help ensure that these vital resources reach those who need them most, quickly and effectively—giving those affected a sense of dignity and hope.

Your Tasks
You will spend the morning working alongside the Aktion Brücke team, rolling up your sleeves to help with the packing campaign for people in need:

Assembling hygiene and food parcels.

Sorting and preparing donated materials.

Assisting with the transport or storage of the packages.

Occasional light manual tasks to prepare the workspace.

Every bag packed is a direct contribution to social justice and compassion within the city.

Additional Information
Timeframe: Starts at 9:00 AM, ends around 12:00 PM.

Catering: Drinks (water, coffee, tea) are provided; please bring your own snacks.

Clothing: Comfortable, sturdy clothing that can get dirty; solid footwear is recommended.

Materials: Everything will be provided on-site.

Prior Knowledge: None required – the Aktion Brücke team will provide organization and guidance.

Accessibility: Limited (due to cramped premises).

Parking: Good public transport links; parking on-site is limited.
