Hands-on Help: A Morning for People in Need

Aktion Brücke e.V. is a non-profit organization based in Munich, dedicated to supporting homeless and vulnerable people with great commitment. Through regular packing and distribution campaigns, personal support, and practical aid, the organization helps meet basic needs and provides social warmth—directly, efficiently, and with a human touch.

Goal of the Engagement

‍This Social Day is all about teamwork for a meaningful cause. Together with the Aktion Brücke team, you will prepare essential aid packages for homeless and displaced people in Munich.

Your contribution helps ensure that vital supplies reach those who need them most—quickly, reliably, and with dignity. Every package you prepare is a tangible act of support, offering comfort, respect, and hope.

Your Role on the Day

You will spend the morning working hands-on alongside the Aktion Brücke team, supporting their ongoing packing campaign.

Typical tasks include:

• Assembling hygiene and food parcels
• Sorting and preparing donated items
• Assisting with transport and storage of packages
• Supporting light manual tasks to prepare and organize the workspace

Every bag packed directly contributes to social support and solidarity within the city.

• Location: Mozartstraße 14A, 82110 Germering, Deutschland
• Timeframe: Start at 9:00 AM - End at 12:30 PM
• Arrival / Parking: Well connected by public transport (S8); limited parking available on-site (side of the road)
• Food & Beverages: Drinks (water, coffee, tea) will be provided; please bring your own snacks
• Clothing: Comfortable, sturdy clothing that can get dirty; solid footwear recommended; warm jacket in case some of the work is outside
• Prior Experience: None required – the Aktion Brücke team will guide you
• Accessibility: Limited due to spatial constraints
